Disney World January 28-February 4, 2012!!

The hardest part of blogging after a Disney World vacation is deciding which pictures to post! There are so many good shots. I have tried to select some highlights!

Here are the kids in the airport waiting to board the plane! Everyone was very excited to fly!

After our flight landed, we headed to the Magic Kingdom. Here are Annie, Ellen and Will at the entrance, ready to have some fun:

After seeing Pooh, Tigger, and Pinocchio on Main Street USA, we headed to It's A Small World for Sam's first Disney World ride. He loved it as much as all the kids have loved it on their first trip! All smiles!

Our second day, we visited the Animal Kingdom, a park we all love!
Here's a family shot in front of the Tree of Life:

We had an excellent Safari trip with exceptional views of the giraffes!!

Sam loved playing on the playgrounds at all the Disney parks. Here he is on the slide at the Boneyard Playground in the Animal Kingdom:

The next day we visited Hollywood Studios, where we saw our favorite shows and enjoyed one of our favorite restaurants, The 50's Prime Time Cafe. We all had fun seeing Buzz and Woody from Toy Story. Sam especially loved giving Buzz a high five!

One big highlight from Hollywood Studios was the Jedi Training Academy! Will participated as a Jedi knight-in-training! Here he is battling Darth Vader!

Check out the video too!

We had a couple more days during the week to visit the Magic Kingdom. One day, Ellen and Will both tried to pull King Arthur's sword out of the stone in Fantasyland. Neither had ever been successful before...but this day, BOTH of them pulled out the sword!

Meeting Peter Pan was high on the list of things to do that we'd never done before. We learned where he would be and we waited to be first in line to greet him! Annie had fun telling him her name and age. It was well worth the time we waited...of course, we ate ice cream while we waited!

Our last evening in the Magic Kingdom, we dined with Cinderella and the princesses at her castle. Ellen and Annie looked beautiful in their gowns!

Our last day, we went somewhere we had never been before: The Grand Floridian Hotel! We surprised the kids with a breakfast buffet with Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, Pooh and Tigger! Sam could not stop saying, "Pooh! Pooh!" You can see his little mouth saying it in this picture:

Ellen used her spending money to purchase a lanyard and two Disney pins. Our first step into the world of Disney pin trading. She selected two special pins, which she will never trade: Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland. This made surprising her with this character breakfast even more delightful!

We spent our last day in Epcot. Ellen and Mom stayed late to shop all the countries in the World Showcase. Ellen loved the stores in Morocco. We were there for a long, long time, trying on all sorts of accessories!

I simply cannot finish a post about Disney World without some more shots of the kids with characters!
