Apple Picking!

We had a fun afternoon on our annual trek west to pick apples!

And a mighty fine apple pie the next day, too.

Tell Us All About It

Oh, poor Sam. Tell us about your sadness. I have no idea why he's crying. I was there, I took the pictures, I watched him walk around crying his little heart out...but when it came to the question of what caused such sorrow, so many tears, I was clueless. He refused to be comforted. He just wanted to walk, and cry. Poor little guy.

I also have no idea why he's wearing his beach hat. Annie found it and gave it to him. And he just likes to wear hats. Later in the day, he switched to his Phillies hat. He really likes to put it on, take it off, put it on, take it off.

Annie's First Day of Preschool!

Annie's first day of preschool was supposed to be last Friday...but due to the heavy rain and flooding, schools were closed. She had to wait almost a full week for her first day!

She did great and she had fun!

Ellen and Will were so excited for Annie!

All three big siblings in school, and Sam just grinned, all morning. I am sure he missed them, but he seemed to know it was just him and Mom, and he seemed to like it.

Back To School!!

Big day today! Will started 1st grade and Ellen started 3rd grade! Annie had her preschool open house--she starts on Friday. We woke sleepy-head Sam up at 8:25 am and headed out the door at 8:30, ready for the first day!
