Discharge!

Mike was discharged from UVA hospital on July 23!!

Finishing First for Team Blue

Ellen swam backstroke and butterfly for Team Blue in tonight's 

Intrasquad "Blue vs White" Swim Meet.

And they're off! 50m Backstroke. Ellen is in Lane 4. (Lane 1 is at the forefront of the photo)

Ahead of the pack! First to the wall in backstroke!

This would have been a personal best in backstroke,
if she hadn't swam so fast at her first A-meet two days ago.
Great job, Ellen!

Ellen swam backstroke in her first A-meet this morning!!! Go Ellen!!!

Ellen awoke to find a flock of dolphins in our front yard! 
She was DOLPHINIZED by her coaches during the night!!

Here's Ellen with a side ponytail and a cinched shirt (80's dress-up theme for the meet today) and her "Beast of the Week" shirt (presented to her by her coaches at last night's pep rally) with her flock of dolphins.

She swam great! She took four seconds off her time. A new personal best!! Here she is right out of the pool, tired, but happy!
