December 2006 Getting Ready for Christmas!

It's Christmastime!! The horses took us around the Reston Town Center for Ellen and Will's first carriage ride. (Will enjoyed the ride more than the picture reveals!)

Searching for the perfect tree!

Ellen helped cut the net covering the tree--ready for the branches to fall so we can begin to decorate!

First December Snow

The Monday after we put up our Christmas tree, we awoke to snow! Ellen was ready to take Will sledding!



She pushed him down the hill...



...and even pulled him back up. Good thing it's a little hill!



Then she was able to rest and relax and be pushed and pulled herself, while holding tight to her little brother.

December 2006 Merry Christmas!

It's almost Christmas Day! We've decorated our tree...

We've made our Gingerbread House...

We've put cookie mixes in jars to give as presents to our aunts and uncles...

And we've put on our new Christmas PJs on Christmas Eve...

And now it's time to play on Christmas Morning!!

The first Saturday in December, we headed out on a cold morning to select our Christmas tree, excited for the Advent season and for Will's first Christmas!
