It's getting cold outside! And we're getting ready for Christmas!

Halloween, October 2007

Ellen and Will, along with Dad's help, transformed their

pumpkin into a jack-o'-lantern.

Halloween Night! Ellen dressed as Tinkerbell, and especially loved wearing pink glitter make-up all over her face and arms. Will dressed as a fireman, and surprised us all by putting on the fireman coat, finally, just moments before we walked out the door. Until that point, his disinterest in wearing the coat had been made quite clear.

Fall Favorites, 2007

Our Autumn weekends were busy with visiting the apple orchard and the pumpkin patch and participating in Ellen's preschool's one-mile Fun Run. To quote Will, "Us have fun! Good time! Us have good time!!"

Jeanne wasn't quite prepared for how rapidly Ellen and her friends would take-off with the sound of the race's starting bell. For awhile in the beginning, there were three of us pregnant moms chasing our young runners wondering, "WHERE are the men?" The Dads were at the end of the race, casually pushing the strollers with the younger siblings. Fortunately, Ellen grew weary and we walked the remainder of the race.

Back to School!

Ellen returned to Truro Preschool for her second year of preschool. She loves her teachers and her classmates. Here are some pictures from her first day of school and her first field trip!

Outer Banks, August 2007

We returned to Corolla, North Carolina for our August beach vacation--two weeks this year! The kids had a blast playing in the sand and the waves. We boogie-boarded, jumped in sand holes, collected shells, built sand castles, played football, ate our fair share of

ice cream and water ice and enjoyed every moment!

Summer 2007

Our summer days were spent at the pool! Ellen jumped off the diving board for the first time this summer. Will wore his baseball hat every day; some days he even wore it to bed.

April 2007 Happy Easter!

February 2007 Happy 2nd Birthday Will!

Happy Birthday Will! Will turned two on February 24, 2007! Since Will can't get enough of his baseballs, basketballs, soccer balls, and footballs, we threw a Ball Party for Will and some of his buddies, complete with a baseball cake, a football pinata and 275 new balls in Will's new ballpit!

February 2007 Disney World!!!!!

Daddy took a week off from work in between

his old job and his new job and we went to Disney World!!!!!

Daisy Duck was the first character we met on Main Street USA our first day in the Magic Kingdom! Ellen was excited to have Daisy sign her autograph book--the first of many signatures during our trip!

Will loved playing at Pooh's Hundred Acre Wood!

Ellen loved the tea cups just as much as Mommy!

Ellen was Ariel's first visitor on this morning--

so after Ariel signed Ellen's book, Ellen was asked to sign Ariel's book!

We ended our trip with dinner at Cinderella's Castle!
