Why is it so quiet?

Sam disappeared for a little while this afternoon. And it got quiet. Eerie quiet.
Now tell me, is this an innocent looking boy?

We found him in the guest room. When he saw us coming, he yelled "No!!" and tried to close the door. See those empty shelves? They weren't so empty before the eerie quiet.

I have a feeling it will be a fun year!
